| | | | | Give your Sweetheart a gift that will whisper “I Love You” from stirrup to stirrup! The inspiration behind this ride is based on a trip that I took with my wife. I have always worked around horses, but my wife had not. After 10 years of attempting to share my hobby with her, my wife conceded to try an adventure in Caprock Canyon with me. After 3 days of riding, she was hooked. She since has bought her own horse and rides with me every chance she gets. This has been such a strength to our marriage, we felt we would offer a Sweetheart’s escape to are customers. With the Sweetheart escape, you’ll enjoy wide-open spaces, fresh air, breath - taking views, the sound of hooves on the trail. The days when everyone traveled by horse may be over, but the romantic allure of horseback riding isn’t. Fortunately, it’s still available, thanks to Rusty Spur. | | | | | | | | Overview | | | | | | | | Duration | 3 days, 2 nights ($450.00 ea) Minimum of 4 | | | | | | | Season | Spring, Summer, Fall | | | | | | | Area | North West Texas | | | | | | | Nearest City | Amarillo/Lubbock | | | | | | | Trip Type | Base Camp | | | | | | | Physical Condition Required | Excellent | | | | | | | Type of Ride | Active Adventure | | | | | | | Age Limit | 12 and Older | | | | | | | Meals | All included beginning lunch first day to lunch last day | | | | | | | Day 1 | Guests will meet at 9:00 am at Caprock Canyon State ParkHeadquarters (3.5 Miles north of State Highway 86 in Quitaque on 1065 (a relaxing 2 hour drive from Amarillo or Lubbock) Your personal gear will be escorted to your prepared sleeping arrangements and base camp area.
