Whether you are an experienced rider or just learning, we have the perfect adventure for you.  Rusty Spur Horseback Adventures include fun-filled days of western trail riding, knowledgeable instruction, and rides that take you into over 15, 000 acres of beautiful, scenic Caprock Canyon.  A great advantage of riding with Rusty Spur is that there are no hard and fast rules for trails.  There are miles upon miles of trails to ride. Some trails are steep, rocky, and narrow forcing riders to fall in one behind the other to climb.  Other areas include creek beds, open ranch roads, as well as open range to allow for a bit more room.

This is breath-taking country with abundant wild-life including African aoudad sheep, havelinas, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, porcupines, foxes, mule and white-tailed deer.  Vegetation communities vary from sparse bad land with juniper, mesquite, and cacti, to the abounding bottomlands with tall grasses, cottonwoods, plum thickets, and hackberries. There is no better way to visit and see this vast wildlife, landscape, and vegetation than on horseback.  This is a wild west Texas experience of a lifetime.
